GBMF funds first phase of Moorea Biocode Project

A joint Franco-American team announced today the launching of an ambitious project to genetically barcode the first complete tropical ecosystem. (See News article in Nature) The team is led by researchers at the University of California Berkeley and the CNRS France through their field stations in Moorea: Richard B. Gump South Pacific Research Station and CRIOBE.
